Song

The spiral grooves, and you’re the needle,

Skipping sometimes and sometimes not.

On blackest surface, rigid, feeble,

Your soul as midnight vinyl, tied in a knot.

Through muddy trenches, round and round,

Of love and life, what it all means.

The needle dreams of roads now found,

Revolved in pain, and yet it sings.
